Apps

At the App store, they're having a Thanksgiving/Cyber Monday sale. I got this really cool one called "star walk," you find the moon or some other easy to find object in the sky (like the moon), then after matching it with the moon on the screen. You can scroll around the REAL sky using the Iphone, Ipad, or Ipod Touch. It shows you where stars, planets, even satellites are from the onscreen map, for today only, its only $.99 normally I think its $3.99 so its a great time to get it.

Riddle

I have space,
but there is no room.

I have a home,
but there is no house.

You can enter,
but you can't go in.

What am I?

Animal Crossing: City Folk

Animal Crossing: City Folk is the sequel to the popular DS game, but this one is for the wii. The goal is going through a life in town talking to neighbors, fishing, catching bugs, digging for fossils, donating to the museum, visiting town, and so much more! You begin by naming your city and choosing your house, and then you are all on your own to pay off your house by cashing in objects to Tom Nook at his shop, and a few other various ways. One of my favorite things about Animal Crossing is that one day is never the same, from firework shows, seeing special visitors, to fleamarkets, and contests. You can also decorate your house with furniture and all sorts of objects, it has EVERYTHING you can imagine. Even when you finish that, you can still donate to the muesem to complete its collection with bugs, fish, fossils, and art pieces. I play it all the time and I'm not even close to done, so if you want a game to keep you busy for a long time this is a great game for you.

Gamecocks

Gamecocks open up their season tonight against southern mississippi. USC's winning 24-0 in the 3rd quarter (hope they hold on.) Wait... 27-0. The Panthers are also playing but its not looking so good for them 3-16.
I also added a Facebook like button I got from http://www.wikihow.com

Trade Deadline

With the trade deadline fast aproaching the astros are looking to trade their ace Roy Oswalt. After the trade deadline teams can still trade but they have too clear waviers(what ever that means.) acordding to a report on astros.com Oswalt could go to the Phillies in a 3 team deal with the Rays. Oswalt is having a great year despite his 6-11 record he has only allowed an average of 3.5 runs every 9 innings, also Oswalt tends to do better in the 2nd half of the season.

Another trade deadline canidate, Cliff Lee, got traded to the Texas Rangers last week for top prospect Justin Smoak, a former gamecock, and two other minor leagers

NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!

USC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Gamecocks beat UCLA in 12 innings to become the national champions, on Whit Merrifield's walkoff single! It's the first time my favorite team in any major sport has won the national title, College or Pros. After losing the first game to Oklahoma the Gamecocks won the next 4 elimanation games (coming to teir final strike once) then swep the Bruins 2-0 in the College World Series.
